At Camp Long, we create immersive environments that encourage children to be safe, brave, and curious, ensuring they make the most of their time with us.

We have created a vibrant community byInteresting Topics to Motivate Students to Learn English, and support them to use their new language skills with confidence. At Camp Long weNo traditional English curriculum or textbooks are used. Instead, every moment at Camp Long is viewed as a learning opportunity, fostering a spirit of exploration and helping students find the language expressions they need in authentic situations. From the classroom to the playground to the cafeteria, our goal is to create a caring environment where students feel encouraged and supported to try new things, aren't afraid to make mistakes, and continue to grow in their language learning journey.

Immersive Learning Experience

“The Little Explorers program is designed to enhance children's language skills through engaging themes and fun learning. At Camp Dragon, we do not rely on traditional classroom English instruction. Instead, we focus on teaching children the practical language they need to participate in the program on a daily basis, and we do so in a fun and creative way. Our learning programs are based on the elementary school curriculum and stimulate children's imaginations through dynamic ”Explore, Develop, Challenge“ sessions.

Course structure

Our innovative Little Explorers program is designed to maximize learning by combining lessons and activities that allow children to explore key topics in a fun and engaging way. Each theme is divided intoFour stages: discover, develop, challenge and demonstrate.

Explore English language learning through a full immersion program of classes, workshops, and activities.

Includes English, math, science, history, and art and design

Course Topic:Young Explorers Program, knowledge of subjects studied in English, including English literature, history, geography and science

There are four stages of daily English learning:

Discovery:One topic per day, based on that day's topic, learn about it
Explore:Study in small groups to encourage teamwork and creative expression
Challenge:Surprise challenges for the themes they explored throughout the day
Showcase:Demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have learned

Examples of science themed learning:space exploration

Discovery:Outdoor hands-on experiments, group work to investigate the principle of gravity through pendulum experiments, learning about biodiversity through scavenger hunts, natural wonders, and the conditions needed for life to exist on the planet

Explore:Working in groups, launching paper rockets, exploring physics and aerodynamics, designing experiments for the International Space Station, and understanding the impact of life in space on humans

Challenge:“Mystery” to be solved gradually

Showcase:Demonstrate science experiments

Explore:Travel back in time to the 21st century, when the University of Oxford had just been founded and the city of Oxford was growing in importance, as we look at the reasons for Oxford's growing importance and imagine what it was like to live in Oxford at that time!

Challenge:Give students a surprise historical adventure and discover some of Oxford's hidden secrets!

Showcase:Students proudly unveil their respective unique history projects, journaling in historic Oxfordian style!
